Sharp, Clerk of Superior Court of Craven County, will host the 2014 Summer Educational Conference of Clerks of Superior Court of North Carolina at the Doubletree by Hilton Riverfront from Aug. 18 through Aug. 22, 2014. The Conference serves the 100 Elected Clerks of Superior Court and members of their staffs from across North Carolina. Clerks from across the state have been meeting annually since 1917 when their association was formed. September 20, 2012 – Benjamin G. Alford, senior resident Superior Court judge for the 3B Judicial District, announced his appointment of Terri W. Sharp as Clerk of Court for Craven County effective October 1, 2012. Sharp replaces Jan Cahoon, who is retiring at the end of September. Sharp is an attorney and was a member of the New Bern law firm of McCotter and Ashton, PA.
